Social Programme
Starting date of Registration: 02 November 2017​
On the evening of Sunday 18 February, between 18:30 until 20:30, there will be an informal reception in the Heritage Hotel. Enter the hotel through the 11 Wyndham St entrance and meet the members of the organising committee and some of the other participants. Have something to eat and drink, as you wish, and sit and talk to other mathematicians.
The conference starts on Monday morning with a welcoming cup of tea or coffee and lasts until Friday afternoon at the afternoon tea or coffee break.
Wednesday afternoon will be free from the formal lecture programme and participants are welcome to stay at the venue and chat about mathematics or else explore the many and varied tourist opportunities in and around Auckland. Some information about the options available on the free Wednesday afternoon will be made available closer to the time.
Lunch on the five days of the conference will be supplied and the cost of these is included in the registration fee.
Similarly, morning and afternoon tea or coffee (except for Wednesday afternoon) is also covered by your registration.
The principal social event of the conference is a Thursday evening banquet. This is included in your registration fee. You are welcome to bring one or more guests to the banquet and you will need to pay an additional $80 for each of your guests.
Please note that registration for the conference opens on 1 November 2017 and closes on 15 January 2018. For those who register on or before 15 December 2017, a reduced ”Early Bird” registration fee will apply. At the time of registration you will need to indicate if you are bringing a guest or guests to the dinner.

The organizers are committed to making this meeting productive and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality or religion. We will not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.
Please follow these guidelines:

Behave professionally. Harassment and sexist, racist, or exclusionary comments or jokes are not appropriate. Harassment includes sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, sexual attention or innuendo, deliberate intimidation, stalking, and photography or recording of an individual without consent. It also includes offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion.

All communication should be appropriate for a professional audience including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate.

Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other attendees.
Participants asked to stop any inappropriate behavior are expected to comply immediately. Attendees violating these rules may be asked to leave the event at the sole discretion of the organizers without a refund of any charge.
Any participant who wishes to report a violation of this policy is asked to speak, in confidence, to Nicolette Rattenbury or any other member of the organizing committee.
This code of conduct is based on the London Code of Conduct, as originally designed for the conference Accurate Astrophysics. Correct Cosmology, held in London in July 2015.
