Social Programme
On the evening of Sunday 30 August, between 18:30 until 20:30, there will be an informal reception in the Pullman Hotel. Enter the hotel through the main entrance and meet the members of the organising committee and some of the other participants. Have something to eat and drink, as you wish, and sit and talk to other mathematicians.
The conference starts on Monday morning with a welcoming cup of tea or coffee and lasts until Friday afternoon at the afternoon tea or coffee break.
Wednesday afternoon will be free from the formal lecture programme and participants are welcome to stay at the venue and chat about mathematics or else explore the many and varied tourist opportunities in and around Auckland. Some information about the options available on the free Wednesday afternoon will be made available closer to the time.
Lunch on the five days of the conference will be supplied and the cost of these is included in the registration fee.
Similarly, morning and afternoon tea or coffee (except for Wednesday afternoon) is also covered by your registration.
The principal social event of the conference is a Thursday evening banquet. This is included in your registration fee. You are welcome to bring one or more guests to the banquet and you will need to pay an additional cost (to be announced...) for each of your guests.
Please note that registration for the conference opens on 15 March 2020 and closes 1 May 2020. At the time of registration you will need to indicate if you are bringing a guest or guests to the dinner.
